Flower Centerpieces

Creating unique flower centerpieces just takes a little imagination and the right florist supplies.

Glue white phalaenopsis orchids to birch branches painted white. Add a few white feathers. Insert into a Styrofoam block secured in a decorated cardboard box.

Cut a 6" x 6" block from a Designer block of Oasis foam set on a small waterproof tray. Insert short cut flowers and wrap with sheer ribbon. For added glitz, insert diamante pins into the center of each flower. The flowers will be more secure if you run a small line of Oasis Floral Adhesive along the side of the stem before inserting into the foam.

Pin button mums to the side of Oasis Cylinder foam and insert roses into the top. Place in a clear compote elevated dish. (Note: check the sizes of the cylinder foam closely to be sure they fit into your container.)

In this centerpiece, the flowers are glue directly to a cylinder vase using Oasis Floral Adhesive. A single green Fuji mum is inserted into a small Oasis Cylinder foam fitted down into the container.

Be sure to mist all flowers throughly with a flower sealant such as Finishing Touch. to keep them fresh.

Fill a clear vase with colored powdered foam or cubed foam. They come in a variety of bright colors to add lots of interest to your centerpieces. Design the flowers in a small, reflective flat-bottomed container and attach to the top of the clear vase with Cling.
